Marble Lotus came to us with a vision to bring South Asian heritage and culture to a global audience. We knew it had to be more than just another American home decor brand– our focus was on the few discerning people who long to reconnect with their roots, feel closer to home, or simply appreciate products with a rich history behind them.
And therefore, we arrived at the tagline “Find Yourself at Home” to perfectly express the idea of creating a space where you truly belong, no matter where you are—just like being at home.
The logo was designed to tell a story and feel alive– it was inspired by the very essence of the name “Marble Lotus”. Marble pointed us toward a sophisticated, royal design, while the lotus was used to symbolize growth and the founder's transformation. The final logo is a marriage of modern aesthetics and deep South Asian roots, where every line and curve represents divinity and unity across cultures.
For the packaging, we didn’t go for the typical South Asian style of vibrant colors and intricate patterns. We created something truly luxurious, understated and elegant. Earthy tones were our choice to subtly reflect heritage and evoke that warm feeling of belonging. The contrast between the product’s ornate beauty and the box’s minimalism makes the unboxing experience feel all the more special & personal.
