Harkaran Boparai Studio (HBS) is a global, multidisciplinary architecture & design practice, renowned for creating timeless, high-impact commercial and residential spaces. When HBS approached us to craft their brand identity, we knew it had to echo their sophistication and be as iconic as the environments they shape.
This visual identity taps into the grandeur that underlies the design language and philosophy of Harkaran Boparai. Clean and sharp, surreal and distinct, the identity provides the brand with a sense of dynamism and editorial precision, with plenty of breathing space for the actual projects to take centre stage.
Our logomark represents a synthesis of contemporary simplicity with classic, flowing typography, symbolizing the studio's approach to blending modern architecture with vintage charm. An elegant interplay of the three characters, "h," "b” and “s," which are integrated to form a cohesive, flowing design, the smooth curves of the letterforms reflect the brand’s focus on organic forms and a seamless integration of styles.
We designed a custom secondary graphic to go on print and textured finishes, conveying a sense of latent strength while resting peacefully, symbolising the dual nature of the furniture –– durable & resilient, yet offering unmatched comfort and style. A powerful ethos is created, one that combines strength with softness, inviting customers to experience power in repose.
An expressive avant garde sculptural serif that mirrors the luxury aesthetic of the HBS product line was crafted.Inspired by founder Harkaran Boparai’s distinctive design expression – a juxtaposition of contemporary and vintage richness, we developed a visual language that is bold, evocative and enduring. The identity is visualised to exude luxury and leave a unique impression wherever it is seen.
A vivid, fresh palette reinforces the brand’s avant-garde statement, steering away from the traditional landscape to create a visual statement of a new world luxury.
