Web Project Manager

Our Web Project Managers run web projects from first brief to final launch. They scope before work starts, manage expectations throughout, and are the link between what the client needs, what our design team builds, and what our external development partners deliver. Nothing falls through the cracks on their watch. If you understand the web build process well enough to scope it, run it, and keep a client informed throughout, we'd like to talk.
On any given day you might
- Scope a new web project and write a requirements document a developer will actually use
- Liaise between clients, internal designers, and external development partners
- Manage project timelines, flag risks early, and hold everyone accountable to deadlines
- Have a direct conversation with a developer about technical constraints or timeline
- Push back on a mid-project scope change, calmly, professionally, and with written documentation
- Run QC on a site before it goes live or reaches the client
- Identify a gap in our process and fix it
The ideal person
- Understands the technical side well enough to have a real conversation with a developer, without needing to write code
- Knows how to scope a project properly, not after things have started
- Can manage a client who changes their mind mid-build without losing the thread
- Researches before they ask and brings solutions, not problems
- Writes emails that don't need a follow-up to clarify what they meant
- Doesn't need to be told what to do every day
You bring
- 3–4 years in project management or client servicing, ideally on web or digital projects
- Familiarity with Shopify, Webflow, WordPress, or custom builds at a project management level
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Comfort working with both internal designers and external development partners
- Chennai-based, or genuinely willing to relocate
